In fact, this use to be me too. Sugar addiction is one of the most widespread of addictions affecting many children, teenagers, and those who have poor eating habits.
Sugar cravings are very difficult to ignore. Moreover, with sugary treats so easily available, it makes it even harder to ignore cravings. When this happens, many tend to overload on simple carbohydrates (i.e. sugar). While this may give your body a short-term energy boost, you will become hungry and crave for more. Is it Wednesday already? The week seems to really be flying by. Today I got off to a great start. My workout of choice – 21 Day Fix Total Body Cardio Fix. I know the challenge does not start until next week. But I have this habit of wanting to give myself a realistic preview of what I will be doing. And it was great! I really worked up a sweat! My workout ended with my Strawberry Shakeology. Just what I needed. I love how I feel so energized.

Accountability Partners = Fitness RESULTS!
When my husband and I first started dating, he had about 25 pounds to lose. He later told me that at the time, he had rarely worked out and his eating habits were not the best. It was not uncommon for him to indulge in fast food and DiGiornio’s homemade pizza. This was completely opposite to my healthy and fit lifestyle! I can’t tell you the last time I ate fast food. And as far as my workouts, I faithfully got up each morning to get in a session and could frequently be found in the gym during the evenings. That was my schedule for YEARS! Could two people with such different lifestyle habits make it work? Which lifestyle would dominate? Well, you already know he’s now my husband ☺! So what happened?

Monday: Prep Week – 21 Day Fitness Challenge
Happy Monday! Today is the first day of prep week for my 21 Day fitness challenge group and I’m excited! The workout program I selected is the 21 Day Fix challenge pack! I’m looking forward to sharing my workout efforts with the other “challengers” and being inspired by them as well. It will be work, but it will be FUN as well.
This week will be spent looking for some new 21-Day Fix approved recipes that I will be able to try over the next few weeks. Check out my board on Pinterest. I’ve already started drinking my Shakeology each day – it’s amazing how good it tastes! And my workouts this week will be a combo of running, hot yoga, and a taste of the 21 Day Fix series before getting down to business next week.
