Prepping for My 21 Day Fitness Challenge


2016-05-18_11.32.14Is it Wednesday already? The week seems to really be flying by. Today I got off to a great start. My workout of choice – 21 Day Fix Total Body Cardio Fix. I know the challenge does not start until next week. But I have this habit of wanting to give myself a realistic preview of what I will be doing. And it was great! I really worked up a sweat! My workout ended with my Strawberry Shakeology. Just what I needed. I love how I feel so energized.

Part of my homework for the fitness challenge is to complete a WHY statement. Oftentimes we get solely focused on striving towards goals that we set for ourselves. This is good, but it is only a piece of the puzzle. The WHY gets you thinking about your underlying motivations and what success and achieving your goals will mean. Taking some time to think about your WHY may uncover some additional areas you are trying to improve. For me, it is clean eating. I know the basics and already follow a healthy diet, but I really want to expand my options. I also want to get better at meal prepping for the week to save time. I know it can be done and I want to be proficient.

So, in advance of next week, I’ve been pinning away many 21 Day Fix approved recipes and meal prepping ideas. There are so many great options.
